Thibault Guillemin is a preferred contact of companies and their managers facing complex issues and reputational risks. He advises as well as litigates on situations entailing simultaneous regulatory, corporate, criminal and social aspects.
He leads our Ethics & Compliance practise. As such, he assists legal, compliance and HR departments in setting up, evaluating and strengthening their compliance programs (codes of conduct, internal audit, risk analysis, KYC, professional alerts, training), both with regard to French legislation (Sapin II, devoir de vigilance) and foreign ones (FCPA, UKBA).
Thibault also defends companies and their managers facing internal investigations and/or enforcements. He represents for many years several companies and individuals in high-profile cases.
As a former associate in a French law firm of supreme court attorneys (avocats au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation), he is particularly involved in public matters. He has recently advised and defended several institutions in matters of corruption, conflict of interests and favoritism.
A well-identified player in the nonprofit sector, institutional clients and family offices are also often requiring his assistance regarding legal issues related to not-for-profit organizations.
